I hail from Murshidabad district in the Indian state of West-Bengal. Currently I am working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Hyderabad. I earned Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Madras in 2020. Prior to joining IITH in 2022, I was an Institute Post-Doctoral fellow at the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Bombay. My research interests are in the fields of colloids and interface science, droplet drying, rheology of complex fluids, and porous materials.

Apart from being a curious researcher, in leisure time I enjoy travelling, listening to music, and cooking!!
